The workshop began with opening remarks from IT &C Department, Government of Meghalaya, setting the stage for discussions on the role of human-centered design in enabling inclusive, accessible digital services aligned with the goals of the Digital India mission.
Over 50 participants from various departments attended the workshop. Sessions covered UX heuristics, accessibility compliance, and the implementation of the UX4G Design System for government platforms. Emphasis was laid on inclusive UI/UX practices, particularly in citizen-facing service portals. The UX4G team led practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises, including case studies of successful UX redesigns across state portals and public schemes.
