Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on User Experience & Design System: Transformation through UI/UX for Digital Governance

On 7th July 2026, the UX4G, NeGD in collaboration with IT&C Department, Govt of Meghalaya conducted an Awareness Workshop on User Experience & Design Systems in Shillong, Meghalaya, bringing together over 50 participants from government, academia, startups, and the technology ecosystem.

The workshop featured expert-led sessions on user experience, service design, design thinking, UX research, AI-assisted user journeys, UX audits, and the UX4G Design System, highlighting practical approaches to building accessible, inclusive, and citizen-centric digital services.

Through interactive discussions, live demonstrations, real-world case studies, and inspiring participant testimonials, the workshop reinforced the importance of designled governance and empowered attendees with the knowledge and tools to create better digital experiences for everyone.
