The workshop covered critical topics such as user-centered design, focusing on embedding UX/UI principles into digital governance for enhanced accessibility. Participants were introduced to the UX4G Design System, a set of reusable UI components designed for consistency across platforms. They also engaged in a hands-on demo of automated UX audit tools that identify UX gaps and recommend real-time improvements. Additionally, key insights were shared on the DPDP Act 2023, underscoring its role in aligning data protection with better UX design to foster citizen trust.
With over 100 officers from various departments, the workshop included interactive modules on design thinking, UX heuristics, and accessibility enhancements, led by Shri Ajeet Kumar, DGM, NeGD UX4G, and other expert teams. These sessions empowered attendees with practical tools and methodologies to improve digital interfaces in Himachal Pradesh’s e-governance initiatives, reinforcing the state’s commitment to delivering citizen-first digital services.
